The all-new Tucson gets more room, a bolder look, a next-generation digital cabin and a hybrid target of up to 42 MPG. Here are the four things worth knowing first.

Hyundai’s new “Art of Steel” design brings a wider stance, sharper lines and a more substantial SUV look.
The all-new Tucson grows into a more substantial compact SUV, gaining about 2.3 inches in overall length and 1.6 inches in width versus the current generation. The result is a stronger stance outside and more usable room inside.
Up front, Tucson moves toward a cleaner, more upright look. Hyundai’s “Art of Steel” design language brings sharper lines, a wider visual stance and a front fascia that feels more premium and more confident.
The Hyundai release describes Tucson’s cabin as a refined, furnished space. A two-layer dashboard, soft cushioning across the dash and doors, an open storage tray and a cleaner layout give it a much more upscale feel than the outgoing model.
Pleos Connect headlines the cabin with an available 17-inch display, while Hyundai also calls out tactile HVAC and audio controls, dual 15W wireless charging pads, a hidden storage tray, Multi-Air climate distribution and available three-zone HVAC.
Premium interior themes like Black/Dove Gray, Mud Gray/Dove Gray and Black/Brown pair with a streamlined dash, ambient-style lighting and a minimalist instrument layout. It all helps Tucson feel more upscale, not just more modern.
XRT PRO adds a more rugged personality with extra ground clearance, Smart Terrain Assist and harder-edged design details. It gives Tucson a legitimate outdoorsy option without losing the main model’s everyday practicality.
A clean full-width lighting signature and squared-off surfacing give the new Tucson a stronger look from behind.
The new layout uses a cleaner, more minimal display approach with premium-looking integration across the dash.
XRT PRO brings a tougher visual character and the kind of stance that fits the more adventurous side of Tucson.
The new long-wheelbase Tucson is longer, wider and taller than the previous generation, while maintaining a five-passenger layout.
The preliminary global powertrain information shows three distinct personalities: gas, hybrid and plug-in hybrid. Final U.S. trim-by-trim availability should be confirmed closer to launch.

The next-generation hybrid system targets up to 42 MPG and adds E-Traction torque management to help improve stability by controlling wheel slip. Hyundai also describes an HEV Stay Mode that can power climate control, audio and device charging while the gas engine is off.
Pleos Connect is Hyundai’s Android Automotive OS-based next-generation infotainment platform. Depending on configuration, the release lists a 17-inch or 12.9-inch primary touchscreen together with a 9.9-inch slim display. It also supports over-the-air updates and native third-party services.
Gleo AI is designed to understand natural conversational requests and context, reducing the need to manually dig through menus.
XRT PRO increases ground clearance from about 7.1 inches to 8.3 inches and adds a more rugged setup. Hyundai’s Smart Terrain Assist analyzes traction and slip in real time and displays a terrain difficulty or “stuck” score.
Target Speed Control can manage acceleration and braking at low speeds, roughly 1–16 mph, so the driver can concentrate more on steering in difficult terrain.
The new Tucson follows Hyundai’s “Art of Steel” design direction, using muscular fenders, crisp body lines and distinctive lighting. Hyundai also lists 25,600 micro-LED pixels as part of its Micro Pixel Lighting design.
Preliminary colors named in the global release include Serenity White Pearl, Ranger Green Pearl, Kodiak Blue Pearl, Driftwood Gray Metallic and Red Rock Orange Pearl.
Hyundai says the new architecture makes greater use of hot-stamped high-strength steel and reinforced center pillars. The release also describes advanced driver and occupant monitoring, lane-following and adaptive-cruise technologies, with exact U.S. equipment dependent on trim and final certification.
